PROGRAM

DAY 1 (Saturday)
Arrival at Milano Malpensa in the morning. Easy lunch in a small village nearby the airport and transfer to La Morra for check-in in the selected accommodation facility. Welcome aperitivo at the accommodation and dinner in a characteristic restaurant in the village. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 (Sunday)
After breakfast, departure to discover the secret paths in the forests of a truffle hunter and his dogs. Easy lunch with truffle products. In the afternoon walk in La Morra and wine tasting. Free time. Dinner in a characteristic restaurant in the village. Overnight stay in La Morra.

DAY 3 (Monday)
Breakfast and departure to discover the amazing castle of Grinzane Cavour, one of the symbols of Langhe hills. Visit of a well known family-run distillery and tasting of grappa. Visit of a producer of biologic preserves with a tasting lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of the elegant and historic city of Alba. Dinner in the “piola”, an easy traditional trattoria run by a 3* Michelin stars world famous chef from Alba. Overnight stay in La Morra.

DAY 4 (Tuesday)
After breakfast, check-out and visit to a traditional flour mill. Wine tasting in a well-known family-run wine cellar producing Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera and a lot more, followed by a lunch with a breath taking view over the Barolo hills. In the afternoon, stroll in Barolo and visit of the Castle of Barolo and wine museum. Transfer to Nizza Monferrato for check-in in the selected accommodation facility. Dinner in a characteristic restaurant in the village. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 (Wednesday)
Breakfast and departure to Canelli. Guided visit to an “underground cathedral”, an underground wine-cellar which is an Unesco World Heritage. Tasting of famous Spumante d’Asti, a traditional  sparkling wine made in this region with Moscato grapes. Lunch in Canelli. In the afternoon free time to discover Nizza Monferrato. Dinner in an elegant restaurant in the village. Overnight stay in Nizza.

DAY 6 (Thursday)
After breakfast departure to Asti for a visit to a craft producer of traditional nougat and chocolate truffles. Lunch in an elegant and characteristic restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of the historic city of Asti with some free time for shopping. Dinner in a characteristic agriturismo nearby Nizza. Overnight stay in Nizza.

DAY 7 (Friday)
Early breakfast and departure to Canelli for the weekly market. Our chef will guide you buying fresh products for the cooking lesson and dinner in the afternoon. Transfer to Costigliole d’Asti for a visit of the castle and a wine tasting of the traditional Barbera wines. Lunch at the castle. In the afternoon cooking lesson at the accommodation, followed by a dinner with the prepared dishes. Overnight stay in Nizza.

DAY 8 (Saturday)
After breakfast and check-out, departure to the airport. Stop at an outlet centre and small lunch in a wine shop. Drop off at the airport of Milano Malpensa.

€ 2800 (about £ 2482-$ 3188 – definitive price is the countervalue of the price in euro’s)
If your reservation and payment is fully received 60 days prior to departure day, you are entitled to a 10% discount
